Justice prioritizes civil and criminal identification management

Luanda, ANGOLA, June 23 - Angolan Justice and Human Rights Minister Francisco Queiroz said in Beijing, China, that one of the biggest challenges in the sector remains the implementation of an integrated management platform for civil and criminal identification. ,

Francisco Queiroz, who is in China during a work visit, was speaking at the end of a training session of technicians of his department whose main objective was to learn technological solutions.

According to a note from the Angolan embassy in that country, during the training the Angolan technicians received knowledge from the China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation, CEIEC, for the management of civil and criminal identification, as well as the project to reformulate the activities of the birth registration.

The cooperation with the Chinese company, CEIEC, also includes the construction of a National Identity Card Production and Control Center, with a capacity for daily issuing of about 20,000 documents to be built in Luanda by March 2019.

The control center will also have the mission of interconnected monitoring with the other provinces of the country.
