Irish Eurovision hopeful Bambie Thug has unveiled a cover of The Cranberries classic Zombie ahead of Tuesday night's Eurovision Song Contest semi-final at the Malmö Arena in Sweden.
The track premiered on the Eurovision Song Contest's YouTube channel with the caption: "It's time for Eurovision... A Little Bit More: the exclusive performances, remixes and cover songs from the Malmö 2024 participants."
Cork native Bambie Thug will perform their song Doomsday Blue in the first semi-final where Ireland will face Ukraine, Cyprus, Poland, Serbia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Iceland, Finland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Australia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova. Coverage of the first semi-final will begin on RTÉ One, RTÉ 2FM, and the RTÉ Player from 8:00pm.
The countries performing in the second semi-final on Thursday 9 May are Austria, Malta, Switzerland, Greece, Czechia, Albania, Denmark, Armenia, Israel, Estonia, Georgia, Netherlands, Norway, Latvia, San Marino, and Belgium.
The grand final will take place on Saturday 11 May.
