Lakeside Dance Company Is Taking On Disney Classics In Upcoming Dance Recital At Rogers City Theater
Tomorrow, May 10th at 7pm, Lakeside Dance Company will be having a dance recital in the Rogers city theater.
“Tomorrow evening, Lakeside Dance Company is hosting our dance recital. The theme is night at the movies. And, all the songs that our dancers will be dancing to are fun movie songs, mostly Disney And it should be a great time. It’s entrance by donation only and we’re really looking forward to seeing our dancers shine on stage” said Abbey Tulgestke, Founder and Co-owner of Lakeside Dance Company.
The dance recital will feature an arrangement of songs from popular movies within the last decade such as Barbie and Aladdin.
“It’s so much fun seeing all the girls hard work be put into the dance numbers, and they just want to perform so well for Mom and Dad and Grandpa watching and it’s so awesome to see everything come together for them” said Tulgestke.
Tulgestke is proud of the hard work and positivity displayed by her dancers leading up to this recital.
“We really appreciate all the support that community provides and we look forward to putting on a great show for everyone” said Tulgestke.
During the summer, Lakeside Dance Company will be offering a six week series of dance classes for adults Tuesday nights at 7pm. They teach a variety of dance categories such as tap, jazz and ballet. For more information on their classes, you can call 989-351-9234.
