WEST SPRINGFIELD — I had no intention of reviewing Majestic Theater’s production of the London and New York comedy hit, “The Play That Goes Wrong,” when I bought a ticket for a recent weekend matinee.

The show seemed a perfect tonic for someone — me — who was desperately in need of laughter; sustained laughter, at that.
