The Auburn Public Theater cinema will feature several classic films for free in the month of May.
All screenings take place at 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the 8 Exchange St. theater:
- May 7: "Hello, Dolly!" (1969: Barbra Streisand, Walter Matthau)
- May 14: "Amelie" (2001: Audrey Tautou)
- May 21: "A Hard Day's Night" (1964: The Beatles)
- May 28: "Singin' in the Rain" (1952: Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds)
The films will be introduced by local artist, theater board member and The Citizen contributor Joanne O'Connor. A free movie theme raffle will be held as well.
Admission is free and open to the public. The theater's cinema has 65 seats and a concession stand.
